If you're hankering for more base-building and colony management beyond the stars, then you may be pleased to know that Stardeus will offer just that when it releases in early access next month.

Lithuanian studio Kodo Linija will have its sandbox-style sim published under the Paradox Arc initiative on October 12.

Players take the role of an AI that must build a mobile colony aboard a starship. This means not only handling the construction of the colony, creating means to power it and that all-important oxygen supply, but maintaining drones, humans, and robots alike to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

From there you'll be able to set off into space to explore new worlds, deal with merchants and raiders, and craft your own personal tales thanks to an in-game Story Generator.

Kodo Linija promises modding support, a fleet of customization options, and close collaboration with the community as development continues.

Stardeus will be available on all PC platforms in Early Access from October 12.
